I have always had a strong commitment to nature and community life. As an active member of the orienteering club in Tranås, I have seen over the years how important our forests and trails are – not only for exercise and recreation, but also for cohesion, health and the development of society.

But I have also seen how difficult it can be to show that value with numbers. When we wanted to find out how many people were actually moving around in our areas, it became clear that the solutions that existed were both expensive and complicated. There was a lot of technology, high costs and often too advanced analysis systems.

That's where the idea for Visitoors was born. I wanted to create something that was exactly the opposite – a small, agile people counter that could be mounted anywhere, withstand all weather conditions, require minimal maintenance, and at the same time easily deliver the data that decision-makers actually need. With Visitoors, municipalities, county administrative boards and organizations get a smart way to follow up on the use of important outdoor recreation areas, evaluate investments and make better decisions - based on facts.

But for me, it's not the technology that's important, my vision is that Visitoors should be reliable and easy to work with without having to be a specialist.

We believe in technology that works in the background, but makes a big difference – for both people and nature.
